Recently, Berardi Immigration Law was contacted by a Canadian business person who had been offered employment in the U.S.  Ms. Berardi consulted with the client and determined that he qualified for TN status as a Management Consultant (one of 63 professionals authorized by the North America Free Trade Agreement or “NAFTA”), even though he did not hold a Bachelor’s degree.

CBP has Designated an Approved Native American Tribal Card as a WHTI Acceptable Travel Document PDF Print E-mail

Under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (“WHTI”), federally recognized Native American tribes can enter into agreements with CBP to develop tribal identification cards that can be designated as acceptable documents to establish identity and citizenship upon entering the United States at land and sea ports-of-entry from contiguous territories or adjacent islands.
